Note: For Mac and Linux users, you can follow the same steps except for downloading. You can rearrange or fix the vocal presentation into a better sound that you want to produce. Configure the settings and turn your audio into a nice vocal presentation. Look for the GVST GSnap plugin and the commands for adjustment will appear. Select the part of the audio you want to correct and click the Effect Menu. Open your Audacity and record your audio or import a prerecorded sound to auto-tune. The plugin will be added to your effects. Go to the sub-folder for plugins and then paste the copied file. Just go to the Program Files on your computer and find the folder for Audacity. dll file, and paste it to the plugin directory for Audacity. Also looked in the Plug-ins menu in Audacity, and not there either.Step 5. Open the download folder on your computer and find the GSnap. I was expecting to find GSnap or VST in the Effects menu, but no. I then rebooted the machine and opened Audacity. dll into the Plug-ins folder of Audacity (in Program Files (x86)). I moved both of those files into my Program Files folder (just at the top level). I’ve unzipped the download Ok, though was a bit surprised to only find a. (But Audacity is in my Program Files (x86) folder.) Do I need the 32-bit version or the 64-bit? I read somewhere that Audacity is only 32-bit and therefore the 32-bit version of GSnap is required. I’ve downloaded GSnap from a couple of different free sources. I’m on Windows 10 (64-bit) and Audacity 2.4.1. Hi, I’m a relatively new Audacity user and am trying to install GSnap, cos I don’t always sing in tune! I’ve tried to follow the various instructions in the handbook, but still can’t make it work.
